Reiki is a natural healing technique that works to bring harmony and balance in a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual way.
Reiki comes from two Japanese words:

Rel – meaning Universal
Ki – meaning Life Force Energy

Universal life Force flows through all living things and is what keeps us alive. We receive this energy from many sources including sunshine, the air we breathe, the food we eat and water.
Reiki is the natural healing energy that floes through the hands of the Reiki channel in a potent and concentrated form.

How does Reiki work?

When the universal Life Force Energy is adversely affected, illness or disease can result. Negative and dis-harmonious thoughts and feelings can cause a disruption in the flow of energy.
It has been stated that some doctors believe that up to 98% of illness is caused primarily through the mental and the emotional state of a person.
The Reiki practitioner channels energy through the hands to the recipient, activating the body’s own natural ability to heal itself.
Reiki goes to the deepest level where many illnesses originate, releasing blocked energy and cleansing the body of toxins, helping to create a state of balance.
Reiki functions at all levels of the recipient adjusting itself according to the recipients needs, allowing them to take responsibility for their lives and to make changes in attitude and/or lifestyle for a happier and more healthy life.
